We were delighted to be invited to participate in a virtual trade mission from Wales to Germany, the second in a series of events to promote collaborative working and opportunities with the Welsh Supply Chain. It proved to be an excellent opportunity to meet those responsible for decommissioning and demolition of Germany’s nuclear power plants over the next ten to twenty years, as well as those charged with the safe disposal of the resulting waste. Key participants including KernD, BGE, Framatome, Bilfinger, BGZ, AINT, Westinghouse, Steag Energy Services and Vattenfall gave presentations. We are looking forward to having further conversations with those companies with particular interest in game-changing characterisation technology.
