Feedback from the successful trial was very positive, with stakeholders saying that the very simple design had the advantage to potentially be tweaked, making it smaller or sacrificial.  ViridiScreen’s simplicity of design and output could be an advantage for very specific scenarios, such as monitoring inside scaffolding poles, where size is critical.

Successful conclusion to deployment of ViridiScope on five sites

At the end of June we successfully completed our last trial deployment of ViridiScope - on Hinkley Point B. Temperatures in Somerset soared to 30 degrees in the week when we were working in two pairs of coveralls and rubber gloves. It was quite a contrast to working in the 'Beast from the East' earlier in the year! The characterisation was completed in a week, demonstrating the 'faster' aspects of our innovative tool.
